INTRODUCTION
============
Welcome to Catch Me If You Can!, a door game for Wildcat!(c). This
game is one where players try to catch the computer's piece within a
certain amount of moves. It takes luck and strategy to win though!
HOW TO PLAY
===========
After the opening screens have been displayed, you will see the play
field, a 10 by 10 block of dots, with your piece and the computer's
piece placed in the center of the field. Play begins by selecting a
direction to move your piece as follows:
1 ................... Down & Left
2 ................... Down
3 ................... Down & Right
4 ................... Left
5 ................... Stay In Place
6 ................... Right
7 ................... Up & Left
8 ................... Up
9 ................... Up & Right
The computer's move will be randomly selected BEFORE you enter your
move but will not be shown to you until after you make your move.
Throughout the game, you must remain within the boundaries of the
playing field. Play continues until either you catch the computer or
you run out of moves for that round. The moves and values for each
round vary as follows:
Round 1 .......................... 10 Moves / $1,000
Round 2 ........................... 9 Moves / $5,000
Round 3 ........................... 8 Moves / $10,000
Round 4 ........................... 7 Moves / $50,000
Round 5 ........................... 6 Moves / $100,000
Round 6 ........................... 5 Moves / $500,000
Round 7 ........................... 4 Moves / $1,000,000
After each round, win or lose, you will be asked if you wish to play
another round. Selecting Yes, starts the next round, while selecting
No ends the game. Play continues until you select not to play another
round, you select Quit during a round, or all seven rounds have been
played.
